However, we have not previously reported the use of clomiphene citrate or gonadotrophins to promote the growth of gonads. Therefore, the following hypothesis is proposed. In the proposed hypothesis, the use of gonadotrophins may increase the number of developing embryos in the gonads.

The effect of clomiphene on the development of the mouse

The mouse embryo was treated with 50 mg/kg of clomiphene citrate or no gonadotrophins (all drugs used in this study) for 6 days. The development of the mice was assessed by palpation and the appearance of the embryos. The embryos of the mice were harvested at the age of 2–3 days (see Figure). The number of blastocysts, embryos, and the appearance of the embryos were analyzed by high-powered PCR to detect the genesN-glycosylation of theβ-lactoglobulin (-MG) andα-MG.
